The Horodetsky Building
- located on Bankova Street in downtown Kiev
- said to be one of the most fascinating examples of architecture in Kiev
- built by famous architect Horodetsky in 1902 as a private residence
- The walls and roof feature sculptural ornaments relating to mythology and hunting
Funicular (cable car)
- cable car built in 1905 that offers exciting two minute rides from Podil (Lower City) up to Mykhailivska Ploscha (Upper City)
- allows riders to see a panorama of the Kiev and Dnipro Rivers

Mariyinsky Palace
- located on a hill where it looks out over the Dnipro River
