Your In-Country travel Coordinators:
You will be fully educated on Guatemala travel by your AAI consultant before you leave. However, there are guides that we can recommend who will tour with families, for those who may be more timid travelers.
Transportation:
- Families traveling to Guatemala for adoption purposes will do most of their travel in and around Guatemala City by taxi. The driver may not speak English, so it is best to have the address written for them.
- Taxi transportation can be arranged for airport pickup through the hotel directly, or by asking Travel Intrigue to arrange this service when they book your lodging.
- Families can also arrange taxi service for shopping, touring, medical appointments, etc. by asking the staff at the front desk at the hotel to make the arrangements.
