Ethiopia Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Addis Ababa. Follow signs to Immigration to obtain your Ethiopian visa. After claiming your luggage, go to the exit gate where our Ethiopia contact or another member of his staff will meet you.

Day 2

Go to the orphanage to meet your child. You will be able to take your child with you, and he or she will be with you the rest of the trip.

Day 3-5

Enjoy your stay in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Our program coordinator and his staff will show you many sights within Addis Ababa, and you will have a lot of time to bond with your new child.

Day 6

You will have your appointment at the U.S. Embassy. Our program coordinator will escort you to the U.S. Embassy for this appointment. Later that same day, you will return to the U.S. Embassy to receive your child's visa.

Day 7

Fly home to the U.S. from Addis Ababa.
