China Sample ItineraryDay 1Arrive in Beijing. Follow the crowd to immigration and then downstairs to your luggage claim area. As you go down the escalator you will see a digital screen in front of you giving you the number of the claim area. Get a luggage cart, free of charge, load you luggage, and go to the exit gate. Your Beijing guide, Wendy or Jason, will be there to meet you with an AAI sign. Day 2Sightseeing in Beijing, including the Forbidden City, Tian An Men, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, etc. You will spend some time shopping, too. Day 3Your Beijing guide will take you to the airport and you will fly to the province in the evening. The flight will be about two hours. When you get to the province airport, get a luggage cart (there will be a small fee), load your luggage and go to the exit gate. Your provincial guide will meet you with an AAI sign. You will see your child tomorrow and begin your paperwork process. Day 4-10You receive your child and the paperwork processing begins. Enjoy your stay in the province of your child's birth. Your guide will show you many sights and you will also have a lot of time to bond with your new child. Day 10-13Fly to Guangzhou. Your guide will take you to do some shopping for your daughter. For dining there are Chinese, Thai, and Western restaurants within walking distance. Check with your guide. Day 12You will have your appointment with the U.S. Embassy. You do not have to go. Your guide will take the papers to the embassy for you. Day 13Go to the embassy in the afternoon to pick up your child's U.S. visa and have a brief ceremony. Leave Guangzhou for Hong Kong. Stay overnight at the airport hotel in Hong Kong. Day 14Fly home to U.S. from Hong Kong and arrive the same day in the U.S. |
